Meet The Xela Pack – your sustainable sampling solution! Perfect for liquids, powders, tablets, and granulated products in various industries. Dispensing 99% of the product helps minimize waste, while its collapsible design and lightweight nature reduce space and energy needed for shipping.
The Xela Pack’s highly efficient design also requires about 90% less plastic and 50% less material overall than traditional bottles and tubes and when combined with PCR materials, helps significantly reduce the amount of virgin material needed in your packaging.
With user-friendly features like easy bend-and-tear opening, FDA approval, and customizable water-soluble ink printing, Xela Pack is the innovative choice for eco-conscious samples and trials.
A Legacy of Packaging Innovation and Sustainability
Founded in 1986 by Al and Cathy Gentile as Genpack USA, the company transitioned to Xela Pack in 1994, symbolizing a dedicated shift toward pioneering sustainable solutions.
However, the Gentile family's legacy in custom packaging machinery traces back to 1967, when Aliseo "Al" Gentile initiated Gentile Packaging Machinery. This early venture specialized in custom packaging machinery for diverse industries, laying the groundwork for Genpack USA and eventually Xela Pack, Inc.
Over 30 years of industry expertise have fueled Xela Pack's journey, culminating in breakthroughs such as the environmentally friendly Xela Pack—a testament to their commitment to eco-conscious packaging solutions.

The Xela Pack Can Significantly Reduce Your Environmental Footprint Compared to Traditional Plastic Bottles & Tubes
93% Less Plastic
The material structure of each Xela Pack is made of paper/foil/poly or paper/poly. The paper portion is SFI and FSC sourced and/or 100% recycled
92% Less Space Used After Use
100 empty 1oz plastic bottles requires 432 Cubic Inches of space while the same number of 1oz Xela Packs require only 32 Cubic Inches
Recyclable With Paper
All current Xela Pack material options have been evaluated by Centro Qualità Carta to be recyclable with paper thanks to their unique construction
99% Product Extraction
The Xela Pack allows full dispersal of the product, leaving behind only about 1% of product after use, compared to approximately 30% in plastic bottles
Water Soluble Inks + Varnishes
Water-soluble inks and varnishes exclude harmful pollutants found in other inks and varnishes. Xela Packs also allow for 30% more print area than rounded bottles
BPA FREE
BPA (bisphenol A) is a chemical often added to many commercial products including plastic products and containers, and is said to be harmful

Xela Pack's commitment to the environment is as strong today as it was in 1987 when we made it our mission to produce the best possible packaging while paying utmost respect to the Earth and environment.
Today, we continue that commitment in many ways, including partnering with companies like Bonneville Environmental Foundation to support the production of renewable energy across the US.
Xela Pack also purchased Green-e Wind RECs from BEF to match 100% of our electricity use for 2022 & 2023 and will be continuing our commitment again in 2024.

Recyclability of the Xela Pack
We take sustainability seriously at Xela Pack and have worked hard to ensure our products are not only of the highest quality, but recyclable as well. Validated through a rigorous TruCycle US Assessment by RRS in February 2023, Xela Pack was found to be "Excluded in less than 5%" and "≥ 30% Access-to-Recycling" earning a solid B grade across key categories with no failures.
Centro Qualità Carta, an authoritative voice, also certifies our ALOX material with a Level B rating, ensuring seamless and cost-effective recycling with paper. Our LLDPE/Standard and White Recycled material options, rated Level C, also make strides in sustainability by producing less than 40% waste and being recyclable with widespread, present day technology.
Endorsement from Western Michigan University's (WMU) Paper Pilot Plant solidifies Xela Pack's commitment to environmental responsibility. In rigorous Repulpability Processes (part 1) Test, the EVOH Xela Pack yielded an impressive 70%+, while the innovative ALOX material achieved an outstanding 81.8%.
