In-Mold Labeling (IML): Premium, Monomaterial Decoration
In-Mold Labeling (IML) is CSI’s most premium decoration technique which provides photo-quality imagery in a variety of glossy and matte finishes. The IML labels, which are made from polypropylene (PP), are fused with the package during the molding process, removing the need for secondary labeling.
As a result of using PP labels fused with our wide selection of PP jars and closures, the entire completed packaging component is monomaterial and therefore considered widely recyclable. This feature allows for beautifully designed packaging that jumps off the shelf while retaining all of the sustainability benefits that your customers have come to expect.
